Mick has many years experience growing vegetables and has implemented an innovative system of field rotations and fertilization. He raises meat chickens in movable coops and pastures them in fallow fields that will have vegetable crops the next year. Major crops include bok choi, fennel, gailaan, baby head lettuce, napa cabbage, rosemary, rutabagas, and turnips. He has a special interest in heirloom melons.
